Jane Mae Summerlin

Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Mae Summerlin, 83, of Greenville will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Greenville United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Eric Garrett, Rev. Brad Horne and Rev. Jonathan (Chase) Oltremari officiating. She died on Saturday, April 29 at home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Summerlin was born on November 2, 1933 to Ralph and Blossom Cummings in Zanesville, Ohio. Mrs. Summerlin was a long time member of Greenville United Pentecostal Church. Her greatest love was for her family, her church, and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31. Her price is far above rubies. To family and strangers alike, she was kind, loving, patient and full of joy and laughter. She retired from Reliable Electric in Greenville, MS in 1988. 

Mrs. Summerlin is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Earl Summerlin; her father, Ralph Cummings; her mother, Blossom Cummings; three brothers, Danny Cummings, Bob Cummings and Richard Cummings; two sisters Betty Wheeler and Mary Jenkins. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Rosie Novaria of Zanesville, Ohio; her brother, Tommy Cummings of Zanesville, Ohio; her son, Jimmy Coleman of Greenville, MS; four daughters, Carolyn Pinnix of Sierra Vista, AZ, Barbara Coleman of Slidell, LA, Gladys Quinn of Nashville, TN, Kathryn Allegrezza of Greenville, MS; 12 grandchildren, Brad, Mitchell, Jennifer, Brandy, Christy, Chase, Chastity, Chance, Jessica, Russ, Adam and Deborah; 19 great grandchildren and her loving church family of Greenville UPC. 

Pallbearers honored to serve will be, Brian Williams, Bryan Bourgeouis, Chance Ray, Matt Cockrell, Melvin Horne and Tony Oltremari. 

Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church.
