Funeral services for Janie Sue Ford, 75, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Monday, August 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery, Beulah, MS. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Janie was born on November 20, 1946 in Benoit, MS. She attended Benoit School and then became a full-time homemaker.
Janie enjoyed raising her family, dancing, reading and going to ball games. She was an avid Mississippi State fan, always ringing her cowbell on game days. Go Dawgs!!! She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Ford; father, Bailey Robertson and mother, Edna Robertson.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Ford of Greenville; son, Michael Ford (Jenny) of Greenville; two sisters, Doris and Joyce Robertson both of Greenville; and two grandchildren, Nataleigh and Brent Ford.
There will be a visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
