Funeral services for Jannie Evelyn Sharp Trotter, 80, of Greenville will be at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville, MS. She passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at her home. Burial will be in the Leland-Stoneville Cemetery, Stoneville, MS under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born on November 10, 1938 in Hamburg, AR the daughter of James Pruitt and Erma Lou Pennington Sharp.
She dedicated her life to taking care of her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and neighborhood children.
Mrs. Trotter was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Trotter and her parents. She is survived by daughters, Millette (Jeff) Mitchell, Marsha (Steve) Sullivan, Virginia (Rick) Roswarski and Della (James) Worbington; one son, Marvin Kelly (Kimberly) Trotter; a brother, Royce (Margaret) Sharp; two nephews, Royce (Heather) Sharp, Jr. and Marcus (Shannon) Sharp; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four great nephews, two great nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville, MS. The family would like to give a special thank you to Delta Regional Hospice, Dr. Hayek and Rhonda Potter for taking care of Mrs. Trotter during her illness.
