Jean White Watts

Private graveside services for Jean White Watts, 95, of Greenville were held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Greenville Cemetery. Ann Jones officiated the service. She passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020. Arrangements were under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.

Jean born and educated in Meridian, MS, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. White; she was the youngest of six siblings. After World War II Jean married and moved to Greenville, MS. There she raised a family while her husband started a small business.

Jean was a loving kind woman who enjoyed gardening and decorating her several homes. She was an active member of Parkview Baptist Church. She cherished her family and her many friendships.

Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William A. Watts, and a daughter, Jean Camille Gray. She is survived by a son, William A. Watts, Jr. (Becky). Survivors also include granddaughter, Heather Gray of Stayton, Oregon, granddaughter, Melissa Turner (Ben) of Henderson, Nevada, and grandson, Joel H. Gray (Valerie) of Chesapeake, Virginia and 5 great grandchildren.
