Graveside services for Jerry G. Hogue, 73, of Vicksburg and formerly of Greenville, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Lakeview Gardens. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Mr. Hogue was born on November 24, 1951, in Greenville, MS, to R. L. and Dorothy Gentry Hogue. He received most of his education in Greenville before joining the U.S. Army, where he finished his education. While in the Army, he served as a Military Policeman during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he returned to Greenville, where he worked most of his life as an industrial mechanic.
Jerry enjoyed fishing, loved motorcycles, and most of all, he loved traveling with his family and son.
He is survived by his son, Lee (Lacie) Hogue of Vicksburg; sister, Jeanne H. Jones of Leland; two brothers, Mike and Raymond Hogue, both of Pontotoc, MS; and two grandchildren, Ryder and Harper Hogue.
