Graveside services for Jesse Booth, Jr., 92, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Greencrest Gardens, Belzoni. He died Tuesday, June 26 in Isola. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was born in Sunflower Co., MS where he graduated from Singleton High School in Kosciusko. After college he enlisted in the U. S. Navy serving during the World War II. He married Frances Beckwith making their home in Greenville where he was engaged in farming and was also employed with Mohasco Industries (formerly Greenville Mills) retiring in 1988. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Booth of Greenville; two daughters, Linda B. Bolding of Rogers, AR and Debra B. Lockert of Isola; two sisters, Janell Edrington of Hilton Head, SC and Jeneva Booth of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
