Funeral services for Jesse David Rippee, Sr., 71 of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. He passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be Leland-Stoneville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Rippee was born on February 10, 1948 and grew up farming. He farmed until 1983 and worked for Lazboy for 23 years. He loved the outdoors and his dogs. He was known as “Dee” by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward L. and Bertie Loy Rippee; a son, John Bradley Rippee and brothers, Bobby and Eddie Rippee.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Rippee; son, Jesse David Rippee, Jr.; three brothers, Billy Rippee of Lake Village, AR, Travis Rippee of Hollandale and Jerry Rippee of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Katie Sims of Hollandale; mother-in-law, Ethel Huddleston; sisters-in-law, Florence Rippee, Darlene Hollowell, Rita Johnson, and Molly Irwin; brothers-in-law, Donald Huddleston, Bruce Irwin and George Hollowell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
