Funeral services for Jessie Looman Lee, 82, of Leland will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 13 at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. She died Thursday, March 9 at her home. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
She was a native of Broad Run, W.VA where she received her education. In 1964 she moved to Indianola where she made her home. She was a graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College where she received her LPN. Mrs. Lee was employed with Sta Home Health for over 30 years.
Mrs. Lee was a member of Second Baptist Church in Indianola and she attended St. James Catholic Church in Leland with her husband for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip V. Lee in 2013, her parents, a brother and a sister. She is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce Howell (Kenneth) of Leland and Jerri Southard (Michael) of Benton, AR; 2 sisters, Dorothy Mayle Calvin and Tyke Ebeling; 7 grandchildren, Tommy Brasier (Mandy), Randy Brasier (Karen), Kenneth Howell II (Kathleen), Megan Lokhdon (Shaheen), Casey Longdon, Phillip “Jay” Lee and Sara Lee; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
