Funeral services for Johnnie Mason Williamson, 90, of Indianola will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Boone-Card Funeral Home, Indianola. He died Friday, July 18, 2014 at South Sunflower County Hospital. Burial will be in the Indianola City Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of Boone-Card Funeral Home.
Mr. Williamson was born in Feron Springs, MS. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy serving during World War II. After his discharge he made his home in Indianola where he married Cleopatra Faulkner. Mr. Williamson was employed with Sunflower County as a heavy equipment operator in the landfield. He was a member of the Church of God Holliness.
He is survived by his wife, Cleopatra F. Williamson of Indianola; 2 daughters, Sara Cockrell and Sandra Duggan both of Indianola; a son, Joseph Williamson of Senatobia, MS; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
