Funeral services for Joseph Heranney, 95, of Hollandale will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Hollandale Baptist Church. He passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Burial will be in the Hollandale City Cemetery.
Mr. Heranney was born on January 9, 1925 in New Jersey to Alfred and Elizabeth Parker Heranney.
He was in construction and after his retirement he began working for the Southern Baptist Association. Mr. Heranney was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Heranney of Hollandale; two sons, Joseph Heranney, Jr. of Lebanon, VA and Audie B. Heranney of Hollandale; daughter, Linda Kay White of Birmingham, AL; brother, Billy Heranney of New York and 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 10:30-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
