Funeral services for Joyce Jenkins Roncali, 70, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Monday, May 23, 2022 at Merit Health in Biloxi, MS. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born in Drew, MS where she graduated from high school. She later moved to Greenville where she was employed at Greenville Mills until its closing. After Greenville Mills closed she worked at Simply Fashions until her retirement. In 1982 she married Buddy Roncali. Joyce was a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves. She loved her grandchildren dearly. She loved being outside. Joyce never met a stranger, she always welcomed people with open arms. Her sense of humor kept everyone laughing. Her pastime was reading books and doing puzzle books.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Earl Jenkins, Sr. and Clora Norwood Jenkins; brother, Earl Jenkins, Jr. and grandson, Blake Carpenter.
She is survived by three daughters, Ashley Roncali (Jeremy) of Biloxi, MS, Tammy Horney (Joey) of Crossnore, NC and Terri Carpenter (Richard) of Newland, NC; two brothers, Ricky Jenkins of Florence, MS and William (Bill) Jenkins of Greenville; sister, Becky Cummings of Drew and three grandchildren, Erin Benfield, Braylen Payne and Bryson Payne.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral Home.
