Funeral services for Katherine Lunceford Fulgham, 97, of Olive Branch and formerly of Leland will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 20 at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. She died Saturday, April 16 at The Arbor at Olive Grove Terrace, Olive Branch. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.
She was born on August 14, 1918 in Drew, MS growing up there. She graduated from Greenville-Bass High School. Katherine was an established member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club and a member and officer of the Leland Garden Club. She loved people and had many friends. She also loved working in her yard and traveling. Katherine retired from the appliance and furniture sales business. She was a member of First Baptist Church , Leland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Aaris Lunceford, her first husband, William Gildart Percy, her second husband, Felix Earl Fulgham and by five sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Percy Finn, grandson, Michael Crowell (Carrie), granddaughter, Katherine Whittington (Cale), 5 great grandchildren, Matthew Crowell, Courtney Crowell, Amelia Whittington, Lanna Kate Whittington and Marshall Whittington; step-son, Grant Fulgham (Donna), their sons, Brent (Melani) and Brian (Carly); step-daughter, Gloria Fulgham Cox(deceased) and her husband, Charles, their son, Randy and daughter Melanie.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
