Kenneth Wayne “Ken” Kerr

Funeral services for Kenneth Wayne “Ken” Kerr, 74, of Greenville will be at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31 at Boone-Smith Funeral Home.  He lost his fight with ALS on Tuesday, May 29 at the Tennessee State Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.  Burial will be in Lehrton Cemetery, Ruleville under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.

Mr. Kerr was a Army Veteran serving during Vietnam.  He was the terminal manager for Boyd Brothers Trucking.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fay Kerr and a grandson Tyson Muirhead.  He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Findley (Scott) of Greenville and Susan Traikovich (Sam) of Columbus, OH; sister, Edna Davis of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Dana Mears, Deven Regan, Charity Casavechia and Tiffany Blaylock; and five great grandchildren, River, Olivia, Maegan, Maggie and Caleb.

There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The ALS Association, P. O. Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037-0022 or online at alsa.org in memory of Ken.
