Memorial services for Kimberly Corinne Sewell, age 52, of Greenville will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 7, at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. She died Tuesday, April 2 at Delta Regional Medical Center.
Kim was born in Greenville and attended T.L. Weston High School and Hinds County Community College. She worked in landscaping and cellphone service in the Jackson area.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Sewell, Sr. and a sister, Cynthia “Cindy” Walker. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Martha Joiner Tucker and Norman Tucker of Leland; a brother, Jack Sewell, Jr. and his girlfriend, Leigh Gray of Leland, a brother, Chatham “Chad” Sewell (Christie) of Biloxi, MS, a sister, Lelia Mae-Beth “Beth” Gilder (Tim) of Fort Worth, TX, a brother, Joshua Sewell of Leland, and a brother, Jason Sewell (Lisa) of Slidell, LA.
A quote from her mother, “An amazing light has dimmed and gone out much too soon. Kim was a person of joy and intelligence with her life cut short due to cancer. The family will be waiting to see her in heaven.”
A visitation will be held one hour before services Sunday at the funeral home.
