Memorial services for Kimberly Gail Reed, 55, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home in Greenville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. She passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born on March 5, 1969, in Greenville, MS to Henry Reed, Jr. and Wanda Rushing Reed. Kimberly graduated in 1988 from Leland High School and then went on to Mississippi Delta Community College where she was a Delta Dancer and on the modeling team. She worked as a barber in Jackson and Greenville until ill health in June 2022.
She is preceded in death by her father. Kimberly is survived by her mother, Wanda Reed; two sisters, Amanda Pace (Ken) and Cymantha Holloway (Glenn); brother, Greg Reed (Julie) and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts. She is also survived by her precious companion cat, Boog.
The family would like to thank special nurse Jamie Allen and the Adoration Hospice Care team. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Calvary Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS.
