Funeral services for Leona June Harris, 81, of Hollandale will be at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 25 at Hollandale Baptist Church. She died Monday, November 23 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be on Friday, November 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Dunklin Memorial Gardens in Kennett, MO.
June married Billy Ray Harris on August 21, 1955 in Senath, MO and they enjoyed the next 60 years building a life together. Billy Ray and June moved to Hollandale, MS on New Years Day in 1960. June has been an active member of the Hollandale Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed being involved with her Bible study class and the Newcomers Club in Greenville. June loved traveling with Billy Ray and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Billy Ray Harris of Hollandale; 2 brothers, Jesse Small of Senath, MO and Billy Small of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
