Funeral services for Lilly Jeaneane Daniels McBride, 72, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Lake Washington Baptist Church, Glen Allan. She died Saturday, August 6 at her home. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery, Glen Allan under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Jeaneane was born September 19, 1944 in Glen Allan to the late Louis Vardaman and Lilly Mae Daniels.
Jeaneane graduated from Glen Allan High School in 1962. She became involved in the fitness community, owning and operating several health clubs in Greenville. In 1982 she married Steve McBride and they had 33 devoted years together until his death in 2005.
She is survived by two sisters, Nancy Simpson of Wayside, Carolyn Ross of Glen Allan; brother, Clifton Daniels of Glen Allan; and her step children, DeWayne McBride, Pammy McBride, Cindy Mullenix and Melinda McBride all of Tuscaloosa, AL.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude and thankfulness to her two devoted caregivers, Aserey Kincade and Carolyn Brown. Due to their kindness and support she was able to spend her final days in the comfort of her home surrounded by friends and family.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Bro. Jimmy McLendon will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lake Washington Baptist Church or to Arms of Mercy.
