Graveside services for Linda Kornegay Spencer, 74, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. She died Sunday, May 19, 2019 at her home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Linda was born in Alabama and raised in McCool, MS before moving to Greenville where she graduated from E. E. Bass High School. In 1980 she married Benny Spencer. She was employed with Hager Hinge Company retiring as Supervisor in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her parents, June Lewis and Henry Eugene Kornegay and by a brother, Eugene Kornegay.
She is survived by her husband, Benny Spencer of Greenville; daughter, Kandi Lopez (Albino) of Leland; two stepsons, Mike Spencer (Karen) of Wayside and Chris Spencer (Leah) of Wayside; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
