Linda Sue Giardina of Brandon and formerly of Leland passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024, at her home in Brandon, MS with family by her side.
Linda was a native of Leland, MS, and graduated from Leland High School and Gilfoy School of Nursing in Jackson, MS. She retired from the State of Mississippi Department of Mental Health after 28 years of State Service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Dorothy Giardina. She is survived by her sister, Sheryl Price, and brother-in-law, Chesley Price; nephews, Christopher and Andrew Price; niece, Jennifer Price; great-nephews, Chesley, Seth, and Jax Price; and great-niece, Taylor Price.
Her smile was radiant, and her laughter was contagious. Her greatest joy was her family, and she will be greatly missed by all of those lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
