Funeral services for Lorraine Etienne Bagley, 78, of Hollandale will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday,September 2, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home in Leland. There will be a visitation at 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. She passed away on Friday, August 31, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. Burial will be at the Hollandale Cemetery.
Lorraine was born on March 21, 1946, in Crowley, Louisiana to Lucien and Mable Etienne. She graduated from Hollandale High School in 1964. On Feb 26,1965 she married the love of her life Robert Bagley.They had two children Stan and Kim who she cherished dearly. She started a daycare in her home for close to 50 years where she devoted her life to caring for many children. She cherished every child and treated them as her own. She was known to so many children as Mrs. Rain or Mamaw Rain.
Lorraine Bagley was the heart and soul of her family and loved family gathering. Her biggest joy in life were her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Robert Bagley, her son, Stan Bagley (Meshell), and daughter Kim Rainwater (Scott). She is also survived by her grandchildren Joseph Bagley(Mackenzie), Ethan Bagley, Clayton Rainwater, Jenna Bagley, Eli Bagley, Hannah Rainwater, and Tyler Rainwater and great grandchildren Presley Bagley, Evie Bagley, Ella Raine Bagley, and Lucy Bagley. She is also survived by her brother Wilson Etienne (Patricia) and many nieces and nephews.
