Funeral services for Louise Augusta Young, 80, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Wednesday, December 6 at Methodist University, Memphis after a lengthy illness. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
A native of Mississippi, she studied at several colleges and earned several degrees in Early Childhood Education. She worked for Washington County Opportunities for many years. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Henry Albert and a great granddaughter, Hannah Albert.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Jay Schoffstall (Dianne) of Wayside and Jimmy Young of Greenville; daughter, Vicki L. Albert (Barry) of Dillsburg, PA; sister, Ruby Rineheart of Puckett, MS; six grandchildren, David Schoffstall, Jay Schoffstall, Steven Young, Courtney Young, Cody Young all of Greenville and Ben Albert (Amanda) of Dillsburg, PA; and two great grandchildren, Emma Jayne and Levi H. Albert.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
