Funeral services for Lynette Nylander Blocker, 68, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 4 at Boone-Smith Funeral Home, 1580 S. Colorado St. She died Tuesday, January 2 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born in Greenwood where she received her education. Lynette married Buddy Blocker, Sr. and they made their home in Greenville where she was employed with JC Penney until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Buddy Blocker, Jr.
She is survived by son, Larry J. Miller (Pam) of Greenville; three daughters, Lisa Blocker of Greenville, Tina Blocker of Greenville and Marilyn Gail Blocker King of Vicksburg; brother, Bobby Stone, Sr. of Rosebud, MS; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
