Funeral services for Margaret Boehs, age 88, of Leland will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 9 at Leland Mennonite Church. She died at her home Friday, July 5. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
Margaret was born May 22, 1925 in Galva, Kansas. She was the wife of the late Bill Boehs to whom she was married for 62 years. She was also preceded in death by a daughter.
Left to remember her are 3 children: 2 sons, Roger Boehs (Bettye) and Jim Boehs (Donna); a daughter, Trudy Giesbrecht (Gary); 7 grandchildren and 17 great-granchildren; 2 brothers, Robert Koehn of Greensburg, Kansas and Sylvan Koehn of Newport News, Virginia; and one sister-in-law, Beverly Koehn of Protection, Kansas.
A visitation will be held 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, July 8 at the Leland Mennonite Church.
