Funeral services for Margaret Lee Chandler, 96, of Leland will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 30 at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. She passed away on Sunday, December 27 at Liberty Health and Rehab of Indianola, MS. Burial will be in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery.
Margaret was born in Memphis, TN, on December 12, 1919. She is preceded in death by her parents Loranze and Myrtle Groves; her first husband, Robert L. Lee, her second husband, Bingham Chandler, son, Joseph A. Lee and brother, Robert Gordon.
She is survived by her daughter, Annette Lee Ray (Ben) of Leland; daughter-in-law, Glenda Lee Radla (Jerry) of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Jon L. Ray and Nancy Ray Rumley of Leland, Joseph Lee, Jr.(Paula) of Houston, TX, Scott Lee (Diane) of Cleveland, and Cory Lee (Shannon) of Longview, TX; her stepchildren Joyce Chandler Cook of Boyle and Larry Chandler (Leeanna) of Gautier; ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of choice.
