A faithful and devoted witness, Marjorie dedicated her life to Jehovah and symbolized her dedication by water baptism on March 29, 1959. Her heart was always in the ministry, actively helping others learn about her loving heavenly father and his promised Kingdom on earth up until her death.

She made her home in Selma, Alabama, before moving to live near her family in Mississippi. Known affectionately as “Grandmargie” by her grandchildren, she was also known for many years as “the Avon lady”. She will be remembered mostly for her outgoing personality, sense of humor, spiritual wisdom, generous hospitality, and her famous chicken-n-dumplings.

The family would like to express gratitude and thankfulness for the many acts of kindness, thoughts, and prayers to all our friends. Including the wonderful staff at Delta Health System Hospice Care for their professional care and assistance. And a very special thanks to Diane Rexrode and Rose Marie Pate for their selfless care and love during her final years.
