Funeral services for Martha Richardson Doty, 78, of Lake Village, AR will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center, Lake Village. Burial will be in Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko at 3:00 p.m. under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Doty was born in Kosciusko on October 5, 1935 the daughter of Dessie Ree Byrd and Leon Richardson. She graduated from Kosciusko High School. She later moved to Greenville where she met and married Hugh Doty in 1958. Mrs. Doty was manager of the Greenville Credit Bureau from 1980 until she retired in 1996. She was a member of Lake Village Baptist Church and Gideon International Auxillary.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tommy Richardson. She is survived by her husband, Hugh Doty of Lake Village, AR; 2 sisters, Emma Jean McDaniel of Madison, MS and Linda Rumbarger (Henry) of Houston, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. The Rev. Mike Bell will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P. O.
