Mary Ann was a wife and a mother. In the early 1970’s she and her husband partnered with one of his brothers to begin a business to build and service grain bins across the south. This business, Palmer Brothers Sales and Service turned out to be very successful. Then in the early 1990’s, after raising her 4 children, a new chapter began in her life as she became a private duty caregiver in patients’ homes. This gave her the opportunity to travel. She would spend the next 25 years doing what she loved the most, this was caring for the elderly and being able to travel from Georgia to South Texas.
She finally retired and spent her time with family, working in her garden growing beautiful flowers and enjoying frequent visits from her youngest two great grandchildren.
Mary Ann was a member of Shaw Baptist Church for many years.
