Graveside services for Mary Diamond Flanagan, 82, of Greenville will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. She died Sunday, June 12 at Delta Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Converse, LA where she received her education. Mrs. Flanagan had been a resident of Leland and Greenville since 1955. She was employed with Greenville Mills as a winder for 28 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rufus Flanagan in 2006 and by 4 brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Louise Sullivan of Vicksburg and a son, Larry Eugene Flanagan of Wichita, KS; 4 brothers, 3 sisters; 8 grandchildren, Randy Chadwick, Jerry Eugene Chadwick, Chris Chadwick, Amanda Mensi, Larry Flanagan, Jr., Jimmy Flanagan, Brian Flanagan and April McCullum; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
