Memorial services for Mary K. Rochell, 72, of Greenville will be held at a later date at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. She died Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mary was born in Greenville, MS to Lee and Mildred Burrel Woods. She attended school at E. E. Bass. Mary had a nickname that was given to her as a child by her father that most people think is actually her real name, Kitsy. Her father said Mary Kathrine was too long and decided to call her Kitsy and it stuck. Kitsy enjoyed playing bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dean Woods, her husband, James Rochell and sister-in-law, Becky Woods.
She is survived by two sons, James Rochell (Kim) and Jimmy Rochell; brother, Richard Woods; six grandchildren, Cory White, Jimmy Lee Rochell, Cody Rochell (Maria), Jamie Rochell, Alexa Nicole Lewis (Michael), and Alyssa Rochell and three great grandchildren.
