Funeral services for Mary Louise Wright, 58, of Leland were held on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Roundaway Cemetery. She passed away on August 7th, 2020 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Arrangements were under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mary was born in Indianola, Mississippi to J.B. And Gladys Townsend on December 19, 1961. She married William Wright on July 11, 1981. She worked as a waitress for many years and then at Quick as a Wink Cleaners.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father, Gladys & J.B. Townsend; her sister and brother in-law, Syble & Gene Summers.
Mary is survived by her lovingly, dedicated husband, Will Wright; sisters & brothers, Sharon Jefcoat (Mike Jefcoat), Melva Brooks(Bobby Brooks), Morris Townsend(Brenda Townsend), & Michael Townsend(Melissa Townsend); a dozen nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews that she loved with every ounce of her being.
Mary lived life loudly and without regrets. She was one of those people you meet in life and never forget. To know her, was to love her. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
