Funeral services for Maudie Palmertree Worbington, 86, of Winona will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Lakeview Gardens on South Main Extended in Greenville. She passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 in Winona. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born June 20, 1934, in Winona, MS, to Oliver “Floyd” and Vassie (Ludolf) Palmertree of Kilmichael, Ms. She loved working with the elderly as a private caregiver.
She is survived by her sons, Arthur Worbington, his wife Sherry of Petros TN, James, “Jimbo” Worbington, his wife Robyn of Fairview, TN, and a daughter, Gail Wages of Memphis, TN.
She is also survived by her stepchildren Marshall Worbington, his wife Maria of Ocean Springs, MS., Rita Rose of Grenada, MS., Linda Smith, and her husband Gerald of Grenada, MS. She also has 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband JB Worbington, two daughters, Shelia Cantrell and Louella Carnell, two step-sons, Larry Worbington, and Kenneth Worbington, her father Floyd Palmertree, and her mother Vassie (Ludolf) Palmertree of Kilmichael, MS.
