Graveside services for Michael Wayne Crittenden, 70, of Greenville will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at McKinnon-Crittenden Cemetery in McAdams, MS. He died on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at his home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Michael was born in Greenville, MS where he graduated from Greenville High School. He attended Mississippi Delta Community College where he received a degree. He has worked in Greenville doing electrical work and HVAC work and was also an insurance agent for Union National Insurance Company. Michael also owned and managed several rental properties in the Greenville area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Clifton Crittenden and Rae Arleen Rogers Crittenden, brothers, Paul and Phillip, and a sister Karen.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Booth Fullwood; two sons, John Michael Crittenden, and Jason Wayne Crittenden; three daughters, Jennifer Ann Crittenden, Lisa Michelle Crittenden, and Cheyeanne Crittenden-Taylor; a sister, Teresa Crittenden; seven brothers, John Dewight Crittenden, James Clifton Crittenden, David Carl Crittenden, Marcus Aninias Crittenden, John Clifton “John John” Crittenden, Marion Roberts and Carol Roberts; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
His family respected his wisdom which was vast and beyond his years. He will be sorely missed.
