Graveside services for Mildred Luster Hoke, 84, of Belzoni will beFriday, November 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gooden Lake Cemetery. She died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Humphreys County Nursing Center, Belzoni. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone-Card Funeral Home, Indianola.
She was a native of Isola and graduated from Belzoni High School. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Gooden Lake Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Luther and Josie Waters Luster, her husband, Warren Earl Hoke, son, Jerry Wayne Hoke and brother, Buddy Luster. She is survived by 3 sons, Warren Earl Hoke, Jr. (Barbara) of Belzoni, Jack S. Hoke (Rosie) of Belzoni and Michael Keith Hoke of Belzoni; 4 sisters, Christine Redden of Flora, Freda McLendon of Inverness, Lois Tharp of Isola and Rosie Roberts of Tuscaloosa, AL; brother, Billy Tom Luster of Belzoni; 2 granddaughters, Lori Hoke Verhage (Craig) of Cleveland and Robin Hoke Toler of Inverness; and 3 great grandchildren, Anna Street, Woods and Warren Toler all of Inverness.
The family will receive friends after the graveside services at Gooden Lake Baptist Church. The family wishes to express their thanks for the wonderful care received from Dr. Mack Gorton and his staff and Humphreys County Nursing Home for their wonderful care.
