Graveside services for Mildred Watkins Mosley, 83, of Greenville will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 23 in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. She died Wednesday, August 20 at her home. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Mosley was born in Louise, MS, the daughter of Samuel and Bertha Watkins, and she attended the Anguilla Public School. She married Wayne Mosley in 1948. They made their home in Greenville, where they were engaged in farming. Mrs. Mosley was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Mrs. Mosley was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dot Reynolds.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Wayne Mosley of Greenville, five daughters, Peggy Mosley, of Phoenix, AZ; Debbie M. Salley (Craig) of Arlington, TN; Terry M. Anderson (Scott) of Owensboro, KY; Cathy M. Nunnery (Chip) of Greenville, MS; Christi M. Hamm (Ken) of Tullahoma, TN; two sisters, Frances Herron of Greenville, MS and Kathy Kuhn, of Olive Branch, MS; a brother, Sonny Watkins, of Greenville, MS; 14 grandchilden, Bryan, Ryan, Amy, Jennifer, Nichol, Craig, Bo, Cole, Dylan, Whitney, Jason, Shelley, Kathleen, and Christina; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 23, at Boone Funeral Home.
