Minnie was born in Attala county Mississippi on April 3, 1943 and made her lifelong home in Leland, Mississippi in the early 1960s.  She loved her family and her community fiercely.  Her grandchildren will fondly remember her and their times of fishing and talking on the banks of Deer Creek.  Minnie Lou was a pillar of the community and loved her time in Banking.  She began her career at the Bank of Leland and retired from Planters Bank.  During this time she touched many lives and was always in her office for a light hearted discussion, a sympathetic ear, or a parental touch for her customers.

Minnie Lou was preceded by her parents, Walter Jefferson Jones and Anty Inez Jones, her brother James Ira Jones, and her beloved husband Anthony Joseph Morlino.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory and to carry on a legacy of, family unity, her daughters, Regina Baptiste (Debra), Teresa Grace Chustz (Brian), Amy Jo Rutland (Billy), Grandsons William Joseph Rutland, Wade Joseph Chustz, and Michael Brett Chustz and precious granddaughter, Waverly Grace Rutland. Also, left behind with heavy hearts, her loving sisters who were so very supportive of Minnie Lou and the girls, Odolphine Nored and Evelyn Grace Atwood (Jimmy), and their children.

Minnie Lou made her monthly contribution to St. Jude without fail.  It is the wish of the family that she is remembered by your support of St Jude and the tireless pursuit of healing children.

There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
