Funeral services for Mitchell Harris Weeks, 72, of Greenville will be at noon on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Thursday, July 18, 2019 at his home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mitchell was an avid football fan and enjoyed watching his favorite teams, Ole Miss and Miami Dolphins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel Doyle and Stanley Weeks and brother, Stanley Doyle Weeks.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Weeks of Greenville; four sons, Mark Weeks (Melissa) of Greenville, Kevin Weeks (Kathryn) of West Monroe, LA, Bryan Weeks (Bridgett) of Greenville and Christopher Webster (Tanya) of Arkansas; daughter, Kimberly Canady; and eight grandchildren, Amber Permenter, Hannah Weeks, Kailey Weeks, Bryan Weeks, Hailey Weeks, Colby Weeks, Abigail Weeks, and Lorelei Webster and sisters, Stacy Weeks Hurst and Brenda Ellis.
There will be a visitation from 11:00-12:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Weeks, Kevin Weeks, Bryan Weeks, Little Bryan Weeks, Jamie Lashley and Colby Weeks.
