Memorial services for Nancy Lee Smith, 75, of Leland will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30 at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. She died Friday, July 22 at Washington Care Center. Burial will be at Academy Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Mountain, MS at a later date.
She was the widow of Bernard L. Smith of Cotton Plant, MS who preceded her in death in 1985.
She is survived by her Mother, Mrs. Marion Crawley of Milwaukee, WI; sister, Mrs. Shirley Holtzen of Lincoln, NE; brother, Fred Knidelberger of Milwaukee, WI; daughter, Debbie Stepp of Leland; 3 grandchildren, Mr. Charles T. “Charlie” Stepp of Greenbrier, AR, Ms. Cassondra A. Stepp of Malvern, AR and Mr. Ethan C. Stepp of Rolling Fork, MS. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Payton Stepp, Laurie Catherine Stepp, Brooklynn Stepp, Hunter Ray Stepp, Brian Stepp, Brittany Raymond, Aden Stepp and Mykala Stepp.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Rev. Merlin Holtzen will officiate the services.
