Funeral services for Nancy Watkins Peeples, 75, of Greenville will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Harmony Baptist Church in Sidon, MS. There will be a visitation from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville, with another visitation from 2:30 p.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. She passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Delta Health System-The Medical Center.
Nancy was born on November 2, 1949, in Greenwood, MS, to Calvin and Virginia Bruce Watkins. She attended college at Hinds Community College.
She was a respiratory therapist retiring from Delta Regional Medical Center in 2006. Nancy had a love of arts and crafts. She enjoyed making jewelry and purses. She devoted her life to her family and grandchildren. Nancy enjoyed family gatherings, picnics, and holidays. She looked forward to watching her grandchildren play sports.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Virginia Watkins; her husband, Roy A. Peeples; and a daughter, Gena Fore.
She is survived by her son, Greg (Vicki) Fore of Grand Bay, AL; brothers, Calvin (Teresa) Watkins, Jr. of Greenville, MS, Tim (Pam) Watkins of Lake Village, AR, and Tammy (Richard) Wolfe of Greenville, MS; five grandchildren, Tori (Brandon) Clark of Lake Village, AR, Katie (Jonathan) Harwood of Oxford, MS, Morgan (Ryan) Stokes of Louisville, MS, James Robert (Cassidy) Duncan of Milton, FL, and Gregory Fore of Grand Bay, AL; three great-grandchildren, Nolan and Logan Clark and Cooper Stokes, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Also, a very dear friend, Sandra Weaver.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Duncan, Gregory Fore, Ryan Stokes, Brandon Clark, Jonathan Harwood, and Trey Watkins; and honorary pallbearers will be Nolan and Logan Clark.
The family requests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
