Funeral services for Pam C. Jacobs, 59, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Boone-Smith Funeral Home. She died Saturday, March 11 at her home. Burial will be in Hollandale City Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Jacobs was from Delta City and lived in Greenville. She held 2 masters degrees from Delta State University, one in elementary education and the other in administration. She worked 30 years in the public school system retiring from Hollandale school district June 1, 2016 as Administrator for the Alternative Education Building and Transportation Supervisor.
She was an avid golfer, enjoyed duck hunting and fishing but, enjoyed mostly spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Allen Clinkscales.
Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her husband of 25 years, Tom Jacobs; daughter, Carla Burt Burgess (Cannon) of Greenwood; brother, Clabe Clinkscales and 2 grandsons, Asa Cannon Burgess (4) and Barron Allen Burgess (1).
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
