Funeral services for Patricia Ann “Patsy” McAfee Lamberson, 69, of Oxford and formerly of Greenville will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Greenville. She died Saturday, December 5 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.
She was born in Greenville and was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School and a graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College. Mrs. Lamberson taught at Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School for 21 years before retiring due to ill health. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Lamberson of Oxford; a daughter, Stacy Renee Lamberson of Oxford; son, Johnny Lamberson, Jr. (Amy) of Memphis; sister, Lida Lee Davis (Pat) of Clarksdale; and a grandson, Hardy Lamberson III of Memphis.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
