Funeral Mass for Patricia Baronet Reed, 76, of Cleveland will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Our Lady of Victories in Cleveland. She passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at home. Burial will be in the Leland-Stoneville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
Patricia was born in Crowley, LA before moving to Shaw, MS. She later moved to Leland, MS where she graduated high school. After graduating she attended Delta State University for two years before attending Mississippi College for Women graduating with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. In 1970 she married Rodney Reed making their home in Leland where she was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Patricia was very involved with the youth group at St. James. In 2016 they moved to Cleveland where she was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories Church.
Patricia was a caregiver for her parents and Rodney’s parents.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Dorothy Baronet. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rodney Reed of Cleveland, MS; three sons, Scott (Kim) Reed of Cleveland, MS, Spencer (Jennifer) Reed of Cleveland, MS, and Hamp (Krystal) Reed of McKinney, TX; sister, Ann B. (Jim) Freeman; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday at 2:00 p.m. before the services at the church. The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
