Funeral services for Patricia Crane Floyd, 85, of Etta and formerly of Greenville will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30 at Boone-Smith Funeral Home. She died Sunday, March 26 at Northeast Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home.
She was born in Napoleon, Ohio and moved with her family to Greenville at the age of one. She lived in Greenville until the age of 81 when she moved to Etta, MS with her son. She was a member of Second Baptist Church (which is now Cornertsone Baptist Church) in Greenville for 66 years. Mrs. Floyd is a current member of Oak Dale Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked with her family on the farm.
Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her husband Bennie “Sonny” Floyd, son, Michael “Bubba” Floyd, her parents, Kenneth and Hazel Crane and her sisters, Jeanne Jones and Norma Williams.
She is survived by son, Kenny Floyd (Beverly) of Etta, MS; daughter-in-law, Karen Floyd of Greenville; 2 grandsons, Michael Floyd (Brandi) of Greenville and Ben Floyd of Huntsville, AL; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
