Funeral services for Patsy R. Coburn, 79, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist Church. The family requests everyone to wear red. Also if you have an antique car come in it as well. She died Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Allegiance Specialty Hospital. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Patsy was born and raised in Texas and was the daughter of late William H. and Ruth Porter Fate. She attended North Texas State University which is now University of North Texas. In 1977 she moved to Greenville.
Patsy volunteered for many years for the Salvation Army and was a member of the YMCA. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 40 plus years. She had a love for Red Mustangs, especially her 1969 Mach 1.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Coburn
She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Coburn Jones of Choudrant, LA; three grandchildren, Robert Mitchel Jones (Missy) of Choudrant, LA, Bria Jones Robinson (Riley) of Friendship, LA and Rebekah Grace Jones Doyle (Eli) of Choudrant, LA; and four great grandchildren, Skylar Jones, Harper Jones, Deacon Jones, and A.K. Robinson.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
