Paul E. Oswalt, Sr., 83, of Greenville, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Delta Health Medical Center. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will immediately follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Paul was born on December 22, 1942, in Greenville, Mississippi. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. He took pride in providing for his family by going above and beyond making sure they had everything they needed. He was always known to lend a helping hand to anyone he knew in need. He had a love for sports starting at a young age when he participated in track and field at Greenville High School.
Paul was the owner/ operator of Greenville Lift Trucks Inc. for over 60 years. He was an active member of the Lake Lee Hunting Club for many years, where he enjoyed hunting with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Terrell and Bernice Luke Oswalt, his wife, Claudine Clemons Oswalt, his brothers Duey Clifton Oswalt, Luther T. Oswalt Jr., and Floyd Oswalt; his grandson Bryan Holland.
He is survived by his son, Paul Eugene Oswalt (Patti); his daughter, Tammy Oswalt Gray (Paul); his daughter, Missie Oswalt Knight (Jay); his brother’s Oscar Oswalt, Charles Douglas Oswalt; his sister’s Robbie Rayburn, Virginia Chapman, Mavis Hill Boyd; his grandchildren, Jason Oswalt (Morgan), Dusty Gray (Toni), Ashley Oswalt Holland, Trent Gray (Maegan), Madison Knight Emerson (Conner), Mary Kathryn Knight; 14 great grandchildren and special friend Clytele Lawrence.
