Graveside services for Peggy Marquis Tankesly, 81, of Ebenezer will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 29 at Indianola City Cemetery. She died Monday, November 27 at home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Indianola.
Peggy was born January 18, 1936 to Jim and Beatrice Marquis. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 66 years, M. A. Tankesly and two children, Money Tankesly and Judy Tankesly Reed.
She is survived by her son, Mark Tankesly (Lynne) of Cold Water; daughter, Cathy Nelms of Ebenezer; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
