Celebration of life services for Peggy Sue Nicholson, 83, of Leland will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS. She entered her heavenly home August 14, 2022 at Azalea Commons of Cleveland, MS after a lengthy battle with dementia. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
She was born September 14, 1938 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to William Howard and Vunie (Stokes) Fisher. She was a member of Marantha Assembly of God. She was a retiree of Stein Mart.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Jean Wright, Vicksburg, MS. Peggy is survived by her sister Linda Dixon, Pearl MS; her sons, David Nicholson of Greenville, MS and Howard (Chrissy) Nicholson of Leland, MS; four grandchildren, Jana Nicholson, Ryan (Katherine Anne) Nicholson, Brandon (Jane) Nicholson, Maggie Nicholson and a great grandson Tindle Nicholson. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Magnolia Gardens of Greenville, Azalea Commons of Cleveland, Sunflower Home Health and Adoration Hospice for the care provided.
