Memorial services for Pete “Frankie” Casavechia, Jr., 69, of Southaven and formerly of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at First Assembly of God in Greenville. He passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven after having a stroke.
Pete was born on March 18, 1950 in Greenville, MS. He was the manager of the Greenville Mall for 15 years and has done many other jobs in years past. He was known for his fishy frying skills and he was very patriotic and loved to support veterans. Pete loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete “Bubba” Casavechia, Sr. and Pauline Renfroe Casavechia.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley Jean Casavechia; two sons, Mark (Paula) Casavechia of Greenville and Ken (Charity) Casavechia of Bowling Green, KY; six grandchildren, Joshua (Blair), Andrew (Jamie), Maegan (Dalton) Baxter, Caleb, Hannah, and Jordan; one great grandchild, Landon; sister, Patricia Ann Casavechia; four brothers, Bobby, Mark, Matt and Billy Casavechia and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
