Phillip Vincent Lee

Funeral Mass for Phillip Vincent Lee, 70, of Leland will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church, Leland.  He died Friday, July 12, 2013 at Delta Regional Medical Center.  Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.

Phillip was a lifelong resident of Leland where he graduated from Leland High School and then Sunflower Junior College (now Mississippi Delta Community College).  He was employed with Cefalu’s Seven-up, MS Valley Gas, Farmers Feed and Supply, Eifling Farms, and in 1984 he started Custom Cleaner & Repair Service.  He was an avid Rodeo contestant. He was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a honorary life member of C.G. Shapley Knights of Columbus Council.   He was a a member of the Leland Volunteer Fire Department for 45 years.

He is survived by his wife Jessie Hayes Lee of Leland; 2 sons, Cameron Lee of Leland and Michael Lee of Albany, GA; 2 daughters, Joyce Howell (Ken) of Leland and Jerri Lucas (William) of Houston, TX; 2 sisters, Shirley Lee Weir of Eldorado, AR and Mary Lee Munday (Bill) of Fairhope, AL; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Brasier, Phillip Lee, Blake Weir, Bobee Palasini, Joe Robert Campbell and Boyd Eifling; Honorary Pallbears will be Brian Weir, Casey Langdon, Ken Howell, William Lucas, Randy Brasier, Jim Dawkins and Leland Fire Department.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church, Leland with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
