Graveside services for Rachel Louise Etheridge, 74, of Leland will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. She died Wednesday, December 20 at Arbor Walk, Greenville. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
Mrs. Etheridge was born on April 25, 1943 to Joseph Wilburn Gower and Dorothy June Caudle Gower. She married Earl Wayne Etheridge and she worked at Farmer’s Feed and Supply of Leland as a secretary for numerous years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, son, Earl Wayne Etheridge, Jr. and brother, Joseph Wilburn Gower, Jr.
She is survived by her son, William Joseph Etheridge (April) of Boyle and grandson, William Alexander Etheridge of Boyle.
John Reed will be officating the services. Pallbearers will be David Wardlow, Richard Taylor, Michael Newman and Mack Gower.
