Randall (Randy) Lamar Palmer

A private family Graveside service for Randall (Randy) Lamar Palmer, 67, of Greenville will be at 10 am Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. He passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.

Randy began his career at an early age, being taught by generations of carpenters before him. He opened his own construction company, Randy Palmer Woodworks, and built many homes and businesses in Greenville. He then created his own management company, JTK Management, where he managed many apartment complexes all throughout the Delta. Eventually, he became a very successful and highly respected H&R Block Franchisee.

Randy was a doting, devoted husband. He was the hardest working, self-employed individual who could never find time to retire. He was a natural born teacher and taught Sunday School and preached for as long as his family could remember. He loved to bowl, play cards, sing in the choir, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with his kids and grandkids… just being Grampy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nell Palmer and his first wife of 33 years, Trevette Palmer. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Palmer; two daughters, Templete Hughes (David) of Greenville, MS and Kameron Hoskins (Justin) of Madison, MS; son, Jason Palmer (Lori) of Navarre, FL; step-daughter, Michael Lowriomore (Eric) of Crawford, MS; ten grandchildren, Christine, Halee and Sam Palmer, AnnElise, and Landon Hughes, Tanner and MeriRandall Hoskins and Evey, Brody and Renly Lowrimore; two sisters, Carole Chandler and Lynne Moorman and a host of nieces and nephews.
